Lets talk Fountain Pens!
TLDR: Official launch is August 20th at 7am with some limited edition colors!
As some of you know I released some prototype fountain pens at the DC pen show this past weekend. These were some of the first 100 pens that I made in the fountain style and it was super exciting to get them out into the world and start collecting feedback on the design before the big launch! Thankfully they were well received.
Some Specs.
0.5" diameter, 3.55" long unposted, and 5.2" posted!
They house a #6 bock nib inside the pen. For those not familiar, that's quite the feat for a tiny pen! Most pocket pens have a slightly smaller nib due to the size. I did some clever engineering and machining to support this :)
The pens have an o-ring seal in the cap that prevents any ink from leaking out into your pockets or backpack if you accidentally fly with the pen (fountain pens can "burp" at altitude and make a mess!) and gives the cap a satisfying snugness to the threading.
The cartridge is a standard international, these can be found everywhere so it makes it a very dependable and easy to refill pen!
